Also, I am a writer. I have a book on Kindle entitled The Banshee's Whisper, and I have a series of screenplays I have written:

The Midnight Phantom Series

Created by Ivory Rosewood

The Midnight Phantom series is based on the Gaelic folklore of the Banshee. To create something that will stand on its own uniqueness I chose to create a story in a manner which has never been done.

This story initially takes place in Old World Ireland in the late 1700’s, just before the actual first written documentation of the Banshee (“The phantom of forebode”).

There are presently three finished parts of the Midnight Phantom series written in screenplay format and Part I converted into book form:

Part I   - The Banshee’s Whisper

Part II  - The Dragon Flute

Part III - Lilith Anacrusis and the Vampire Ruby

Part IV  - Jake and the Knothole (is in the making)

Part I

The Banshee’s Whisper

Synopsis

The Banshee’s Whisper initially takes place in 1769 and is the askew making of the Banshee, before the actual well-known legend. This is when Andra McCumhail (the Banshee’s created mortal name) is a beautiful woman of simplicity (I had the image of someone like Angelina Jolee in mind for this character).

Her husband accidentally kills their son Nathaniel while punishing him for not adhering to his wishes of studying his business and nothing more. She sacrifices him and herself to roam the world protecting children from her enemies: abusing parents. This is a PRE-Banshee legend whereas the Banshee is forged with altruistic purpose: fighting for abused children.

This mission melds with unforeseen malevolence: The Banshee kidnaps children to save them from their abusing parents, but becomes content in holding them against their will for eternity.

The story then fast-forwards to “today”, where our main character, Bobby Henderson, becomes one of these retrieved children. Once Bobby realizes his “rescuer” has killed his parents and intends on keeping him in her dimension forever, he and two other victims, Franz and Steve, escape from the Banshee’s dimension, but not without the angry Banshee hot on their tale!

They go to Bobby’s schoolteacher, who secretly is a very apt Wicca (or White Witch), for help.

The schoolteacher sets a trap for the Banshee to attempt to break the curse of the Banshee and save Andra McCumhail.

An exciting magical battle occurs whereas the Banshee overcomes the Wicca, but the children win the battle saving the day because the Banshee is only allotted one hour in this world or she will turn back to her natural aged self (300+ years old!): The children collide with the Banshee after her allotted time is up, blowing the Banshee up into a huge dust cloud.

The children clean the dust up, putting it into an unattended trashcan. One of the Banshee’s minions, a six-foot snake, nickname Slither, retrieves the can, initiating part two, “The Dragon Flute”.

The Banshee Whisper contains six-foot snakes, a battling Wicca schoolteacher named Ms. Lana Wang, dimensional travel, adventure, camaraderie, a lot of magical events and some comedy.

Part II

The Dragon Flute

Synopsis

The Banshee seeks help from Dragonius, an old and evil dragon, to be reanimated. Dragonius secretly loves the Banshee because of her obstinate endeavor of revenge on her enemies.

After noticing that the remains of the Banshee have disappeared, our protagonists seek help from an ancient and mysterious recluse, Olaf, who resides in a remote forest.

Before the journey to the forest, the kids dabble with Lana’s magic books. They first mess up time, sending them in a ten-minute time-loop, and then attempt to create a vengeance demon. The demon (later nicknamed Michael after the Archangel) was created wrong. Michael was created 12 inches tall and kept as a pet.

After encountering Olaf, Lana is shown how the Banshee received help from the dragon Dragonius. Olaf gives her a Dragon Flute for protection against Dragonius, and the kids are given a special gift from Olaf; showing them the history of dragons and their birth.

Lana goes to the Banshee's dimension to rescue the hundreds of stolen children. The Banshee shows up and they are battling once again.

Lana manages to entrap the Banshee in a crystal confinement. Dragonius attempts to intervene, violating Dragon Law (no dragon interferes with human affairs). Olaf protects Lana and the children, resulting in a great dragon battle to the death in front of thousands of dragon witnesses and by the Father-Dragon. The battle is special because it is revealed that Dragonius and Olaf are indeed brothers.

Michael betrays his makers because he believes the Banshee has the power to make him big as he should be, so he releases her, making room for the beginning of part III.

Part III

Lilith Anacrusis and the Vampire Ruby

Synopsis

The Banshee escapes her enchantment with help from the betraying miniature vengeance demon Michael. Michael helps her because he believes the Banshee can help him to become his rightful size.

The Banshee seeks out and finds the strongest evil for help.

She finds Lilith, the First Evil born in this world. Lilith had a love affair with Lucifer who taught her the secrets of the Angel (magic).

Lilith teaches the Banshee all those things that are hers, including Vampirism. As she teaches her in an underground cave, they are visited by Lucifer! Within one long breath, he sends the Banshee back in time for one hundred and one years to perform the tasks of her making: an omen of death. Her home is the first to be visited.

The Banshee, with her new and improved powers and Vampirism, seeks out Lana the Wiccan for revenge.

Violating the Dragon’s Law, a dragon secretly gives Lana a Vampire Ruby which enables her to be a vampire while she wears it.

As they battle in the dragon’s realm, the Banshee is surprised by Lana’s “leveling the battlefield” Vampire Ruby.

The entire series combines mythological, old and modern magic, and Biblical stories in an imaginative, compelling and sometimes funny fantasy of good and evil.

(On a personal note: Part III could be considered a bit racy because of the biblical characters Lilith and Lucifer. The story of these two comes out of the Torah and mostly utilized by vampire lovers and want-to-bee's.)

About Me

Ivory Rosewood: Piano keys are made from Ivory. Well, at least it used to be until the outlaw of the usage. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I agree!

A good guitar for it is made from rosewood. I am not made from Ivory nor am I made from Rosewood, but I was born November 29, 1965, and I can play both instruments.

If I were to describe myself in one sentence, I would say I'm a true spirit of lovingkindness that just wants to have fun. But, that is not enough, so... My mother and father were both heroin addicts and musicians. I was a heroin baby that grew up in south-central Los Angeles. I graduated from high school and I am a college dropout. I didn't really speak until I was nine years old, and that's when most of my traumatic childhood memories began. I was a misanthrope for many years because I could not, and still can't, understand why there are mean, selfish, and plain old evil people in this world. Even some of my family members fit into the ladder.

Suffice to say, without getting too much into a Madrid of tear-jerking stories, I believe that I was born under a bad sign or cursed. I have suffered one bad experience after another and still cannot get a break in this life. When I say "break in this life," I'm not talking about becoming an instant millionaire with the lottery or something like that (although I'm not averse to it lol), I'm talking about with general love and family.

Being homeless was horrible when you suffer from autophobia! One day, perhaps I will share in detail my life story, if I ever get the courage to relive it on paper.

Nevertheless, while growing up my only Solis came from (this once deemed introvert) fantasies.

"My ignorance is bliss, but put your hand on my shoulder, hide yourself in the mist, what you don't know won't hurt you." An excerpt from a song I wrote called "Eyes of a child." I wrote this song so long ago, an homage to when I was in introvert.

My music reflects my creative pain. In my stories, every innocent character is an aspect of me, and every bad guy is a person or situation I have experienced, sometimes encoded. I read and write music and I have written so many stories. Now, I am attempting to share the fantasies of a true introvert with you through my music and writing.

Education

My Schooling

I wrote a symphony when I was 17 years old. Rick James wanted a person like that on his team. I dropped out of Berkeley after three months and I work with him, off and on, for almost 20 years, until he died. After he died, I got into doing voice-overs, bit-acting, and eventually gave up and got my CDL and started driving trucks. I've recently gotten back into writing music and writing stories. I enjoy writing meditational and esoteric type of music, and even scoring. I have a book on Kindle, but it needs editing. Spanish was my first language. I am Puerto Rican, black, Apache, Cherokee, Irish, Welsh, and Creole. An oddball from the start!
